Etched into the DNA of each forward looking state, every profitable organization and each and every revolutionary minded chief is an intolerance for mediocrity. Holders of excessive places of work all over the world are tied to precise mandates and clear deliverables. Luckily for us here in Ghana we are not only talented with a scripture quoting finance minister who supplies subpar results, however additionally a President who graciously rewards mediocrity.

Let us proceed to simplify the mandate and role of a finance minister; to advance cogent fiscal policy that inures to the boom of our economy, to control authorities spending, to preserve inflation rates at appropriate and manageable percentages and to make sure the cedi keeps close proximity with other global currencies.

As we speak, inflation stands at an unparalleled 37. 2%, The Cedi is running a one-legged race in a 100m sprint, while commodity prices proceed to skyrocket. Everything and some thing of any faraway fee has been leveraged for quickloans, while the normal tax paying Ghanaian is overburdened with ridiculous tax initiatives aimed at in addition funding Government’s immoderate and reckless spending.

I discover it completely shocking and pretty disheartening that given the downward regression of our economy, the abysmal and embarrassing ratings that we have endured below his watch and widening exchange price gap, Ken Ofori Atta stays at post. Surely being associated to the President presents a blanket immunity against any wrongdoings even to the detriment of ordinary Ghanaians. Certainly a luxurious the likes of Agyarko did now not experience for less atrocious crimes.

The President is more involved with his ego pushed venture of building a cathedral than addressing the elephant in the room; the on the spot dismissal of Ken Ofori Atta.

We recognize that the President values the sanctity of his family dinners than the welfare of the everyday Ghanaian, he places a top class on keeping the friendliness between his relations than ensuring that Ghanaians acquire the monetary understanding they deserve. Or should it be that Ken Ofori Atta is the height of economic know-how that the NPP can offer?

Whatever the reason, we cannot wait for the president to seek advice from his Abusuapayin before taking the needed decision. As citizens whose each day lifestyles is affected by way of his indecision we hereby attraction to the sense of right and wrong of the President to serve Ken Ofori Atta with his dismissal notice. Failure to do so inside the next 20 days will set off a collection of non-stop demonstrations until Ken Ofori Atta is removed from office.

At 78, The President may not wholly respect how this gross mismanagement of the financial system affects our future. His children and descendants who are beneficiaries of this financial mismanagement will be financially insulated from future hardships. It is continually the normal Ghanaian, the one who persisted the harshness of the climate to vote who is left to their adverse faith. We refuse to take delivery of this! We select to act now!

CEOs, Managers of industry, ministers and holders of public places of work underneath more visionary leaders are constantly removed for their ineffectiveness. Even managers of soccer golf equipment are constantly changed. The motive behind this is simple; to inject new thoughts and innovations, to fix investor and public confidence and to serve notice to any successor who contemplates towing a similarly path.
