Pep Guardiola's Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Brighton.
Norway international Erling Braut Haaland was the standout performer in the first half, scoring with the only two shots on goal. Ederson assisted the 22-year-old with the opening goal.
The ex-BVB striker beat the Brighton goalkeeper outside the box before smashing into an empty net and converting a penalty awarded by Video Assistant Referee after Dunk fouled Bernardo Silva.Trossard equalized shortly after the break, rifling in at the near post, but Belgian midfielder Kelvin De Bruyne sealed the points with a superb effort from outside the box.
That victory reduces the gap at the top of the table to just one point. Although Arsenal don't play until tomorrow, their focus now shifts to their UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, while the Seagulls host the Blues at the Amex Stadium next weekend.
