NSMQ 2022: Genius PRESEC Winner Receives Full Academic City Scholarship Worth $40,000
Austin Afutu, a graduate of the Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School, PRESEC, and one of the 2022 National Science and Math Quiz champions, has been awarded a full scholarship.
Students with extraordinary academic achievements, leadership potential, and entrepreneurial drive are the focus of the Academic City Presidential Scholarship Award. Afutu's scholarship pays for all of his expenses, including tuition, lodging, food, a laptop computer, a monthly stipend, and twice-yearly transportation to and from his hometown
The prodigy will enrol in Academic City's four-year BSc Biomedical Engineering program.
The outspoken woman expressed her shock at her son's performance in the recently concluded 2022 National Science and Math competition in an interview with Joy News. Lartieku-Nsiah, a pharmacist, said that having her son compete in PRESEC-LEGON and have him take home the prestigious NSMQ trophy is a dream come true for him.
