Barcelona left it as late as they could, but a 1-0 win over Valencia at Mestalla on Saturday night brought them level on points with LaLiga leaders Real Madrid for at least a few hours.

In the 70th minute, Real Madrid scored. Vinicius Junior dribbled past defenders on the left before passing to Valverde, who found Rodrygo on the right. A quick exchange ensues, with the Uruguayan sliding a ball across goal on a Silver Platter for Vinicius Junior to finish. Girona equalized in the 79th minute when Stuani fired a low shot into the bottom right corner.

Barcelona’s Jules Kounde hits out at fixture schedule after injury blow
Barcelona won 1-0 thanks to an injury-time winner from Robert Lewandowski.
On Saturday, however, it was not all good news for Barcelona, who are now back on top of La Liga.
Jules Kounde suffered an injury against Valencia and was forced to leave the game. During Barcelona's La Liga match against Valencia on Saturday, Kounde had to leave the field with what appeared to be a hamstring strain. Eric Garcia also limped away after injuring himself.Kounde is the latest in a long line of players to criticize the World Cup's crammed schedule. Barcelona still has three games in eight days before the tournament begins later this month.
And now, the Frenchman has lamented the number of games he has to play.
"I think it's just an overload, nothing serious," the defender told L'Equipe.They (the organizers) should think about the players more. There are numerous matches. We're on a crazy streak, wanting to play so many games. But those at the top are clearly unconcerned."
If Kounde and Garcia suffer serious injuries, Barcelona will be without three of their main center-backs, as Ronald Araujo is also out and will most likely be out until after the World Cup.
