The Uefa Champions League returns this week for round 6 of the group stage. Some of the major teams expected to qualify have already done so, while others will compete in the Europa League or are completely out of the running.
This week's UCL fixtures are expected to be exciting to watch, especially given the caliber of teams involved. With that said, here are the top three most difficult UCL fixtures this week:
1. Bayern Munich vs. Inter Milan
With Barcelona almost certain to return to the Europa League, German giants Bayern Munich host Inter Milan, who will qualify alongside them from the group, in what promises to be an exciting game.
2. Liverpool vs. Napoli
England hosts Italy as Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp welcome the rampant and very impressive Napoli team to Anfield. After their recent loss to Leeds United in the EPL, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will show up and try to win against a very good Napoli side that will be led by the very in form Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen. Following their first meeting, the Italian club is the favorite going into this game.
3. Olympique Marseille vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham, who are currently group leaders (with 8 points) but could still be relegated to the Europa League, travel to France to face French giants, Marseille, who, despite being bottom of the group with 6 points, can still qualify to the next round with a win against Antonio Conte's team.

Report – Arsenal offers a new contract to in-form star man ,
After his outstanding performance this season, Arsenal has, predictably, offered William Saliba a new contract.
The defender has been on their books since 2019, but he has only recently begun playing for them after spending much of his early Arsenal days on loan.
Having him on the team has been energizing, and his performances are one of the reasons the club is atop the league table.
This season, he has formed a solid defensive partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes at the heart of the Arsenal defense, which has been crucial in helping Mikel Arteta's team astound every fan.His current contract expires in 2023, with an option for an additional year that the Gunners can exercise.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal is pleased with his performance and has offered him a contract extension.
The club hopes he signs it, but if his entourage does not like what Arsenal has offered, they may counter-offer.
Only Arsenal's Opinion
Keeping Saliba is one of the most important things we can do for his future at the club, and there is nothing else we can do.If we lose the France international, our rebuild will suffer significant setbacks, and other players will consider leaving because it will imply that we are not serious about progress.
