France and Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba will play no part for the France national team in the World Cup expected to be held in Qatar this November.
Paul Pogba will not be part of the list of players who will be able to play for the France national team at the World Cup in Qatar. According to his lawyer, Rafael Pimenta in a statement to the AFP, his client will not be available for the World Cup.
"After medical examinations, yesterday and today, it is extremely painful to inform that Paul Pogba will still need rehabilitation after his operation of knee in early September. For this reason, Paul will not be able to join the France team in Qatar".
Paul Pogba returned to training with Juventus last week in what seemed like a a timely boost for Massimillano Allegri's team, but the midfielder has now picked up what it seems to be a muscle injury in his thigh and cannot be part of the team for the next few days.
Emerging reports suggests that it will only take a miracle for Paul Pogba to be a part of Didier Deschamps France side as they prepare to defend their title at the world's biggest football tournament in Qatar.
Since his return to Juventus this summer, the ex-Manchester United star is yet to make an appearance for the team and will not be able to play a role for France as they strive for a title defense.
Paul Pogba is the second player apart from Ngolo Kante who is a midfielder and another integral player of Didier Deschamps' side who may not be able to play at the World Cup in Qatar.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup expected to be held in Qatar is slated to commence on 20th November to 18th December, 2022
