In our everyday activities , we mostly encounter people with bad body odour and we get affected because in most cases, our moods tend to change to a bad one and we try to find a neutral place to be.

vaginal oduor is no exception. it can be a quite a sensitive topic to discuss but we still want to know why the vagina has certain smells and how we can detect an healthy vagina  and unhealthy one. this article will give you a deeper insight 

 ABOUT THE VAGINA 

How the vagina should smell isn't up to anyone to set a standard because a healthy vagina doesn't have one particular smell to it. 

What normally changes the scent of the vagina is the pH level and personal hygiene of the person..

 'The vagina is a moderately acidic environment with a pH of around 4.5. This acidity helps healthful bacteria to grow and prevents harmful microbes from developing'. - 1

Oftentimes, people tend to have a classification of what a healthy vagina should be like because they have little to no understanding of how the pearl works and how it should be cared for. 

A healthy vaginal comes with the way it needs to be cared for. 



HOW TO CARE FOR THE PEARL

There are a number of ways to keep the vagina healthy and fresh :

  • A good personal hygiene keeps the vagina healthy. bathe twice a day, wash there with clean water keeps the vagina clean and helps get rid of any offensive odor.
  • Frequent change of underwear. This undergarment must be pure cotton for an efficient air flow.

  • Arguably, using an essential oil like tea tree oil keeps the vagina healthy.




Another way to treat the vagina well is to know what to eat. 
  • Pineapple 
  • Ginger tea
  • Lemon
  • Celery 
  • Cinnamon 
  • Apple 
  • Probotics (kefir, kombucha, tempeh, sauerkraut, kimchi etc.) 
  • Prebotics (banana, soybeans, oats, whole wheat, garlic, asparagus, leeks etc.



To sum it all, there are several ways to help boost your vaginal ladies. So, to my men out there, you can help any female in your life about this sensitive issue. To my ladies, take very good care of your pearl and know what works for you. Be sure to consult a gynecologist.
