Persona 5 Royal is an excellent game, according to reviews from all over the world.I haven't played a Persona game since #3, but the rave reviews for this one (particularly the Royal Edition) piqued my interest. The gameplay is comparable to what I remember from P3, as is the general premise of team building through relationships and boosting your Personas. The entire process appears to be extensively polished, and I can't accurately explain the changes between the versions without having played the "base game" of P5. But I'm 20 hours in and completely happy with how my character is developing and the party members are coming to life.slowly but steadily! It takes a bit longer to get started, but it quickly becomes addicting, 
and managing your time effectively becomes a cautious gamble of risk and reward! I can definitely see this taking up 100 hours or more, making it a terrific value in terms of money! Even though I'm not a great fan of anime (I prefer western-style RPGs), the game is incredibly stylish and doesn't go excessively "anime-y" with the often unpleasant character design/voiceovers, which is a bonus for me.
