Ignore the naysayers. This game is incredible. In-game dynamics that are fluid and well-engineered, fantastic visuals, and a satisfyingly wide lineup of gaming variants. And no FIFA title would be complete without including all of the new banging music. Excellent game!I've been playing FIFA every year for the past 18 years. It has been the same for the previous three years until this new one, number 23. Before each game, there will be more cinematic entrances. It has a smoother play. Crossplay across platforms is advantageous. In my honest view, this is a significant improvement.
The changes to FIFA 23's gameplay allow for a more methodical, tactile portrayal of the beautiful game - and although it may not be to the liking of some who are accustomed to five-star skilling their way up the Division Rivals levels, we personally like the attention to authenticity. Overall, this is a great conclusion to an amazing 30-year run, but an overemphasis on microtransactions and some clumsy UI decisions highlight everything that's been disappointing about this game for the past decade or so. Make no mistake, with crossplay and a plethora of things to do, this is the finest shape the franchise has been in - but we hope EA Sports FC, free of the oppressive gaze of FIFA, can continue to improve.
