As opposed to your regular hardcore wine on the market, dealcoholised wine has a reduced amount of alcohol in it. Unlike your normal full-strength wine, dealcoholised wine has most of its alcohol content removed from it.

Because it is nearly reduced flavour and contains little to no ethanol, it is sometimes combined with the common wine descriptor "alcohol-free."


Unlike a full-strength wine, which makes one very intoxicated, a dealcoholised wine makes one less intoxicated because of the reduced alcohol content, which is mostly below 0.5%

Studies have shown  that dealcoholised red wine likely reduces blood pressure and hypertension.



WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER IT?

Dealcholised wine, although it still contains some ethanol in it, holds certain very promising health benefits which, when taken moderately, affect the body positively.

  • This kind of wine protects the bodys cell system, especially the brain cells, from damage with its polyphenols alongside antioxidants. 

  • Resveratrol, a polyphenol that helps lower blood pressure, reduce oxidative stress, enhance insulin production, and minimize inflammation in the body system

  • Very useful for domestic purposes such as cooking.

  • Excessively taking it can be detrimental to your health as it can cause cardiovascular diseases and can be cancerous as well.

  • Pregnant women are advised against consuming it or any sort of  alcoholic beverage during pregnancy as it can result in complexities such as deformities of the unborn child.

With the delicate process of making dealcoholised wine, it is said to have an up-to 2- year lifespan.
