Kylian Mbappe, a former AS Monaco player, was spectacular for Christophe Galtier's Paris Saint Germain team in their final group game of the current UEFA Champions League campaign away from home against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin yesterday.
The 23-year-old football maestro and forward ace was fantastic and superb for the Parisien in the show of the night, where he was a big threat in the opposition box for the entire 90-minute duration of the game, thereby getting directly involved in his team's two goals of the night, courtesy of a goal and an assist, which was instrumental in the hard-fought win that secured them second place on the table.
First-half goals from Kylian Mbappe for the visitors and Leonardo Bonucci for the hosts kept the game tight, with nothing separating the two teams at the halftime break, which ended in a one-all draw.
The tempo of the game increased in the second half as they both put on more dazzling performances, but neither could find the back of the net until the 69th minute, when Nuno Mendes gave the visitor the lead to make it two goals to one, which was the final scoreline at full time.
With his only goal of the night, Kylian Mbappe has increased his tally in the competition to 7 goals, making him the competition's joint-top leading goalscorer this season alongside Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
Kylian Mbappe has become the youngest player in UEFA Champions League history to score 40 goals, surpassing Lionel Messi, who previously held the record at the age of 24 years and 130 days.
He will then hope to maintain the standard for his team in their next game as they continue their competition pursuit.

Newcastle ‘want to make offer’ of €30m for January signing – Ready to ‘take advantage’ of tough situation
According to Voetbalkrant, Newcastle United'see a great opportunity' to sign AC Milan's Charles De Ketelaere in the winter market.
After starring for the Jupiler Pro League champions, the Belgian international joined the San Siro in the last transfer window from Club Brugge.
Last season, he had 18 goals and 10 assists in 49 games across all competitions. The 21-year-old has failed to replicate his Club Brugge form for the Rossoneri, failing to score and registering one assist in 16 appearances.
According to Voetbalkrant, the attacking midfielder has not lived up to expectations at Milan, and the criticism he has received is growing, implying that Newcastle 'want to take advantage' of this and bring the player to the Tyneside club.
Eddie Howe's side 'want to make an offer' for De Ketelaere in January in order to do so.
Milan spent €32 million to secure the attacker's services, and while the Magpies' offer would be less, they hope the Italian champions will consider damage limitation and open the door for De Ketelaere to switch clubs.
It remains to be seen whether Stefano Pioli's side will be willing to let the Belgian leave after only a few months of investing in him.
De Ketelaere can put these claims to rest by improving his performances. If not, he may face difficulties because, according to the report, "credit at an Italian top club can run out very quickly."
