Is it Gabby….. or Bawumia ? Should we blame Oppong?
Last Sunday ,the President of the Republic H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo -Addo addresses the nation on the current hardships of the economy including rapid rising in the prices of goods and services including transportation which is affected by the prices of crude oil or inflation ,the cedi’s depreciation to the United States dollar and so many other things held equal.
But the matter is that if the President gives a speech is there no checks for statements because everybody makes mistakes, any kind of mistakes and that the writer may dive so deep that He might not realise the outcome ?At the end of the address on the faithful day ,every Ghanaian disliked the way the president address the nation. Could it be that the address alone on Sunday could affect the New Patriotic Party’s quest in ‘’breaking the 8”.
The Minister of Information ,Kojo Oppong Nkrumah .His ‘’son’’ is supposed to check whether the statement of the President will be sensitive free and that it wont cause any form of regrets to those who voted him into office and that the President has his right to information.
Maybe H.E. Dr. Mahamodou Bawumia,the vice President .He is known to be more closer to the President .Could it be that there was lack of communication between the President and his vice such that he couldn’t share his pieces of such nature to the vice president. Assuming Dr. Bawumia is to vie for the seat at the presidential primaries will the ‘’sika mp3 dede’’ address as well as other statements in some media houses disturb as this one may cost him his campaign for the upcoming 2024 election at the party level and maybe the national level.
Gabby Otchere-Darko ,a presidential staffer and relative .Is he also responsible for talking to and updating the president on his address to the nation and since him being a relative ,is he suppose to talk to the president more manly than any other so as to check his selected text of words in french or any other language so that it doesn’t give room for the opposition to create any form of propaganda .
Maybe perhaps,there are other staffers who are responsible for checking those kind of issues related to his public addresses.All am saying is that the NPP is making room for the other to feed and that they should work hard to improve the cost and standard of living of the ordinary Ghanaian, should make living very easy to the Ghanaian .I think that statistically the NDC or maybe the ‘’GUM MAN’’ may pull a surprise at the dying minutes in the game .If things go same maybe the the NPP have a turn of hard times securing a victory in the 2024 polls.
