The 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group stage has concluded, and Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe have scored the most goals. For their respective clubs, both players scored seven goals. Demebele had the most dribbles in the tournament, but it wasn't enough to keep his team from failing to qualify for the Knockout stage. Kylian Mbappe had the same number of dribbles as the French winger, which helped his team advance to the knockout stage.Lionel Messi, on the other hand, has the most assists in the tournament so far. He had four assists for Paris Saint-Germain in the group stage, while Diogo Jota and Joao Cancelo also had four assists in the group stage. Thiago Alacantra of Liverpool won the most tackles during this stage, with 14 total.

Mikel Arteta has urged Gabriel Jesus to be 'patient' after his goal drought continued last night despite Arsenal winning their Europa League group.

The summer signing from Manchester City had an explosive start to his Arsenal career, but he hasn't scored since the north London derby at the start of October.

Jesus captained Arsenal last night as Kierney's goal ensured a 1-0 win over FC Zurich, avoiding an extra round against a Champions League dropout in February.Despite another outstanding individual performance, Jesus has now gone eight games without a goal, but Arteta is confident they will resume as long as the 25-year-old remains composed.

'That's going to change [his bad luck], he's getting the situations, he's getting the chances, he's contributing to the team an awful lot, he's helping to win matches, the way he competes for every ball in every single action is incredible,' he said after last night's game.

'It will come, he needs to be patient, he's been through it before, and he needs to learn those lessons and don't stop doing those other things that he's doing so well, because that's what's going to keep him and the team at a high level.'Meanwhile, Arsenal were boosted by the return of Mohamed Elneny, who had been out for two months with a serious hamstring injury.

The experienced Egypt international will provide genuine support for Thomas Partey, and Arteta is delighted to be able to call on his former teammate once more.

'He was really good,' he added.'He's been out for eight weeks, we expected him to be out for 12 weeks, he had an amazing recovery, he's a guy who has been pushing everybody around the training ground to be ready as soon as possible, and today I think he competed really well,' said one of the team's coaches.

'Because of the number of games we've played in the last four weeks, we've managed the players' workload.

'It's very difficult to get the balance, to get the right performances and win matches, and to rest some players and keep them fresh,' says the coach. 'We've done our best.

'We had bad news with Tomiyasu today, but I think it worked pretty well for the rest.'
