Gerard Pique's best-ever team-mates, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, have announced his retirement.
GERARD PIQUE is retiring after an 18-year career that included 25 major honors.
The Spanish defender lifted the World Cup as the pinnacle in 2010 and followed it up with the Euros two years later.
Gerard Pique will bid an emotional farewell to Barcelona on Saturday.
He has been a mainstay in the Barcelona team for 14 seasons, having returned to the Nou Camp after a brief stint at Manchester United.
But, having played in one of Sir Alex Ferguson's best teams and being part of a record-breaking era for Barcelona and Spain, Pique has had his fair share of elite teammates.
He spent 46,558 minutes with Sergio Busquets and 65 minutes with Gary Neville.
He announced his retirement this week, saving Barcelona £44 million, and his 616th and final appearance for Barca will be against Almeria on Saturday.

It was Roma's second home defeat in as many games, but Mourinho insists the team was unlucky in both games.
After the game against Lazio, the former Chelsea manager admitted that Roma's city rivals were unlucky, but he also admitted that his team did not deserve to win.
