On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, the brand-new Football Manager 2023 game was officially released for PC, Mac, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile Devices. The only platform that has yet to receive FM23 is the PlayStation 5, with the release date being postponed indefinitely. The latest installment in the football simulator series includes several new features such as Dynamic Manager Timeline, Recruitment Revamp, Supporter Confidence, UEFA license, new Match AI and Animation, and more.
Using the FM23 in-game editor, we compiled a list of the 50 best Premier League players according to FM23, ranked by current ability (CA). Players from Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea account for 70% of the top 50 players, with the remaining 30% coming from five other clubs.

Current Ability (CA) is an attribute used in Football Manager games to assess a player's ability, with each player in the game's database receiving a rating out of 200 for both Current Ability (CA) and Potential Ability (PA) (PA). Potential Ability (PA) is a rating used to assess how good players have the potential to become, but we've just used it to compile a list of the top 50 Premier League players in Football Manager 2023.
Kevin De Bruyne leads the FM23 list with a rating of 189/200. Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah are tied for second place (185/200), and Harry Kane is third.
Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United is ranked 44th, a significant drop from FM22. Man City has 15 players on the list, Liverpool and Chelsea both have 10, Man United has five, Arsenal has four, Tottenham has three, West Ham United has two, and Wolves has one.

Football Manager 2023 is now available on PC and Mac, and FM23 Touch is now available for Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade, allowing the game to be played on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV for the first time.
