Antoine Semenyo: Scottish based top club Rangers FC show interest in Ghana striker.

Scotland based top club Rangers FC have shown keen interest in signing Black Stars and Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo, who is wanted by a number of clubs, including the Scottish club's main opponents Celtic.

According to reports from August, Celtic have been in constant talks with the young Ghanaian player for over a year, but they are now to either beat Rangers FC or compete with Rangers FC for the signature of the striker, as his current club Bristol City have signaled that they could let go the 21-year-old talented striker if they are presented with the right offer by any club.

Rangers are reportedly said to be willing to pay an amount of £5 million to Bristol City for Antoine Semenyo's welcome to the club in the next transfer window in January 2023.

Antoine Semenyo's current contractual agreement with Bristol City will expire at the end of the  2022/2023 season, and there is a plan to sell him in order to avoid losing him for nothing.

The 21-year-old new recruit for the Black Stars of Ghana has scored four goals in seventeen different appearances in all competitions this season.

He made his first appearance for the Black Stars in the friendly match against Nicaragua earlier on this year when the team won with a goal in Spain. Antoine Semenyo is widely reported to be part of the Black Stars 26-man final squad heading to the World Cup in Qatar in a few days.

The Black Stars of Ghana is part of the six African countries who qualified for the World Cup in Qatar. Ghana has been paired with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H. The team will camp in Abu Dhabi for training before moving to Qatar.
