Ashton Media Group, an entity that provides strategic communications support to Unique Sports Group, an agency which represents Jeffrey Schlupp have deflated attacks on officials of the Ghana Football Association by Calvin Riches.
The United Kingdom based entity has written to the Ghanaian media clarifying the position of Calvin Riches stating he is not the agent of the football star.
"By way of introduction, we provide communications support to Unique Sports Group the agency which represents Jeffrey Schlupp", Lloyd Webb of Ashton Media Group told ghanasoccernet.
"Calvin - the owner of the account to publish these comments on social media is not Jeffrey's agent or representative and this is factually incorrect. Calvin works at Unique Sports Group, but is not Jeffrey's agent or representative."
The English Premier league player Jeffrey Schlupp has been reportedly removed from the list of the final squad for the Black Stars for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
This triggered anger on social media and a certain section of the Ghanaian populace questioning why the Coach had dropped the Crystal Palace player. Calvin Riches took to social media to launch scathing attacks on Coach Otto Addo and the Ghana Football Association, accusing them of corruption.
Coach Otto Addo earlier on released a list of 55 players expected to be reduced to 26 for the World's biggest football tournament in Qatar. Key players like Felix Afena-Gyan, John Painstil and Jeffrey Schlupp have been dropped from the list.
Ghana has been paired with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H of the tournament which commences a few days.
