Being the best footballer in the world entails considering your accomplishments for your club and national team in every competition. Here are Football Manager 2023's top ten best footballers.

1. Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City is the world's best attacking midfielder. His creativity is what distinguishes him as the best. In the 2022/2023 season, he had three goals and thirteen assists.

2. Kylian Mbappe - The French forward is the world's second best player. Because of his faster speed, he is able to get past most defenders before scoring or creating chances. He appeared in 19 games for the 2022/2023 season, scoring 18 goals and providing 5 assists.

Gerard Pique claims Real Madrid president made a big mistake

Gerard Pique recently concluded his illustrious career, and Real Madrid fans will have many memories of the Barcelona defender over the years, even if they are not happy ones. His exit was, to say the least, unusual, as we walked into the shadows on another weekend of La Liga football, this time against Almeria. But, as it turned out, it wasn't just another game in the title race. While Barcelona defeated Almeria, Real Madrid lost away at Rayo Vallecano, giving Xavi's side a two-point lead that has now grown to five, despite the fact that Carlo Ancelotti's men have played one fewer game.

Their final game before the World Cup break will be against Cadiz, and no Real Madrid fan can be certain that Los Blancos will walk away with all three points on current form.

To return to the subject of Pique, we all know that he aspires to be the president of Barcelona one day. He does not appear to be a fan of the European Super League, however."I agree with Florentino when he talks about the Super League and how people consume football differently.

"However, I don't believe the Super League is the answer." The formation of the Super League was a huge blunder. Florentino is someone I admire, and he surprised me with that. He has transformed Real Madrid.

"He made a mistake when he signed some stars at the time, but he deserves credit for coming back." But when I saw him on El Chiringuito all by himself... my head exploded. I'm not sure what he was hoping to accomplish with that."

Pique believes that Real Madrid's president made a huge mistake when it came to the European Super League.Of course, the introduction of the European Super League last year took football by storm, but only for a few days.

There were widespread protests from fans, particularly in England, which prompted Premier League clubs to withdraw quickly. AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Atletico Madrid are the three clubs.

Three clubs - Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus - have not given up on the idea of the European Super League, and there are believed to be plans to relaunch it soon, though it is difficult to see the English clubs even approaching the idea again after seeing how their fans reacted the first time around.
