Walker practices on England's first day, giving them a World Cup boost.

The England World Cup team trained in public today at their basecamp in Qatar as they get ready for their opening encounter against Iran in only five days.

As part of their recovery session earlier in the day, the Three Lions team was spotted stretching outside of the Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli early on Wednesday morning in the Doha sunshine.

After arriving last night, the squad engaged in a brief training exercise before beginning additional preparations at their training facility in Al Wakrah later today.

Last night at approximately 8.30 p.m. local time (5.30 p.m. GMT), Gareth Southgate's team landed in the capital of Qatar. They appeared at ease as they stepped off the aircraft.

Last night after arriving in Doha, England got on a bus and headed to their team hotel, where they were met by supporters.

Many fans had gathered outside the Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli, which Southgate had chosen as the team hotel after five previous visits, and he waved to them.

As Southgate and his crew exited the bus outside the hotel on Tuesday night, local football supporters made the decision to welcome them with England's well-known "Football's Coming Home" anthem.

As the crew entered the Souq Al Wakra Hotel, the staff members gathered in the lobby and cheered them on.

When Southgate and his team arrived, they were given flowers and given the opportunity to sample some local cuisine before checking into their lodgings.

Due to its proximity to eight of the 10 tournament venues, Southgate's choice of lodging at the Souq Al Wakra Hotel was mostly driven by logistics and transportation options.

The hotel, which bills itself as "an elegant seaside stay," offers full body scrubs with calming strokes, foot rituals, facials, reflexology, and hot-stone massages at the on-site spa. It also has access to a private beach.

Additionally, there are five restaurants, several of which have a view of the ocean, serving Western favorites as well as Levantine and Arabic cuisine such mezze plates, mixed grills, and the local delicacy sawani.

On Tuesday morning, Southgate's team boarded the team coach outside the St. George's Park national team training facility, where a sizable contingent of fans had gathered to support them.

From their headquarters in Staffordshire, they traveled to Birmingham Airport and boarded their plane for Doha.

Concerns about the host country's treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals at the tournament led England to fly into Doha on a Gay Pride aircraft, a Virgin Atlantic A350 nicknamed "Rain Bow." This was done as a show of defiance toward the host country.

FA executives came up with the concept of the Gay Pride jet.

They had heard a stirring address from Prince William earlier that day, and they had been cheered on as they left St. George's Park by a sizable number of young supporters.

What you and Gareth have built here is something exceptional, that much is obvious, Prince William told the players.

"I'm really here to point out that the rest of the country is behind you; we're all rooting for you. Play for each other, support each other, and enjoy it, and I'm sure you'll go far." Love it."

Harry Kane, the captain of England, said: "I'm excited" before they left. The World Cup is a unique event. We are, of course, flying away today. I'm therefore quite excited. The biggest tournament you can play in, according to the majority of professional athletes. I've had the good fortune to participate in one, and it was among the most memorable moments of my life. And I'm eager to enjoy the sunshine in this weather.

The enthusiastic supporters waved their flags and screamed "England! England! England!" as the players boarded the two coaches and headed for the airport.
