According to reports, Manchester United is planning a deal for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, who has been named as Cristiano Ronaldo's successor.
Following his contentious interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo is set to depart the club, and according to The Mirror, the club is already looking at other attackers, with Mbappe being touted as a surprise January target.
The 23-year-old signed a record-breaking contract with PSG in the summer and has already tallied 19 goals and five assists this season.
The Reds are thought to be one of the very few clubs in Europe able to match the player's staggering wages, which are reportedly around £500,000 per week. The report claims that Mbappe would cost upwards of £150 million.
Despite earlier reports that the former Monaco player was dissatisfied in Paris, it seems that things have changed for the better recently with manager Christophe Galtier.
United are reportedly interested in signing South Korean center back Kim Min-Jae from Napoli during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to GIFN.
The 26-year-old defender's contract's release clause was previously unknown, but Cristiano Giuntoli, the club's director, has recently disclosed that the player can actually be purchased for a certain sum of money.
According to Giuntoli, who was quoted by Football Italia, "it is only valid for foreign clubs and it's accessible in a window in July, for just 15 days."
Min-Jae's current contract expires in 2025, so Napoli is eager to extend him a new one. This season, the center back has made 20 appearances for the Serie A powerhouses and scored twice.
