Coach Otto addo on monday unleashed the 26 man squad for the 2022 FIFA world cup which will be hosted in Qatar. Together with him was the President Of the Ghana Football Association , Kurt Okraku and other staff were present to witness the naming. Otto Addo gave emphasis on the his criteria for selecting the players which include accurate passer , talented dribbler , aerial dweller , instinctive shooter and all other things being equal at the multi choice auditorium . Players are made to take some of the famous national team numbers who were once occupied by asamoah gyan , christian atsu , johnathan mensah, john boye , michael essien , john mensah , sulley ali muntari , Kevin Prince Boateng , fatawu dauda and the likes just to mention a few.Players could not make the squad were called upon on phone and reason made clear by the man with the balls,otto addo.
