Only two goalies have allowed 25 goals in the FIFA World Cup tournament. The goalies in question are Al-Deayea and Carbajal. However, Al-Deayea ranked first on the list after conceding 25 goals in 10 games, while Carbajal conceded 25 goals in 11 games. Aside from Carbajal and Al-Deayea, another goalie who has conceded more than 20 goals in the FIFA World Cup is Svensson of Sweden. In 11 World Cup games, he allowed 22 goals.

Other goalkeepers who have made the top nine list of goalkeepers who have conceded the most World Cup goals include Maier, J. Cesar, Yashin, Casillas, Grosics, and Schumacher. These goalies played at least 11 games and allowed 17 to 19 goals. However, there are active and popular goalkeepers who did not make the list. This is because they play for top European, South American, Asian, and African teams.

The majority of the goalies mentioned in the preceding list are retired, and some of these players will not compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, two German goalkeepers made the list, which explains why Germany has lost so many points in recent world cup tournaments. Can a European goalkeeper win the Golden Glove at the FIFA World Cup in 2022?

According to the Times, Cristiano Ronaldo has lost the trust and respect of his Manchester United teammates as a result of his shocking interview with Piers Morgan. In the explosive interview, the Portugal captain blasted the club, the current United squad, and manager Erik ten Hag, but his teammates are reportedly siding with the Dutch coach. According to the report, Manchester United players believe Ronaldo should never play for the club again and do not want him to return after the World Cup.

Paper Round's perspective: It's not a huge surprise. Ronaldo has publicly slammed everything about Manchester United in a fiery interview that has dominated the news cycle all week. There's no way he'll want to return to Old Trafford, and you can understand why his teammates don't want anything to do with him. United, on the other hand, are in a bind. The club will almost certainly be forced to terminate Ronaldo's contract in order to end the saga before it becomes more toxic. Who knows where Ronaldo will end up next? There weren't many potential suitors in the summer, and his reputation has suffered since then.

A determined Ronaldo replacement?

According to The Mirror, Manchester United are planning an ambitious move to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the report, Mbappe was "furious" with PSG after they failed to pay his salary on time in October, confirming his desire to leave the French capital despite signing a lucrative contract extension in the summer. United would be willing to pay more than £150 million to sign Mbappe and would be able to match the 23-year-old's eye-watering weekly wage demands of around £500,000.

Paper Round's take: It wouldn't be a transfer story if Manchester United weren't involved. Yes, Ronaldo is most likely on his way out of Old Trafford, but Mbappe as his replacement seems a little far-fetched. The French forward could leave PSG next summer, but why would he go to Manchester United? They may not even qualify for next season's Champions League. If Mbappe does decide to leave PSG, the summer transfer window will be extremely busy. He'll definitely be kicking himself for passing up Real Madrid earlier this year.
