Cincinnati FC Co-owner, Jeff Berding to arrive in Ghana today.
Accra Hearts of Oak’s CVCA partner, Cincinnati FC will have it’s co-owner arrive in Ghana today to visit Accra Hearts of Oak on the partnership visit.
Jeff Berding will arrive in Ghana today to hold official meetings with the Board of Hearts of Oak on the back of the Common Value Club Alliance with Accra Hearts of Oak and TSG Hoffenheim.
He will hold a joint presser with the Accra Hearts of Oak Board led by the Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV.
He is expected to visit the Club’s Commercial Center, the Pobiman Academy and the secretariat under construction. He is also expected to watch Hearts of Oak’s weekend clash against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Jeff Berding is expected to leave the country on Tuesday after holding official talks on the partnership with Hearts of Oak. Hearts of Oak is expected to announce new developments at the presser.
Hearts of Oak entered into a partnership agreement with Cincinnati FC from the Major Soccer League in the USA and TSG Hoffenheim from the Bundesliga in Germany. The club has since seen visits from the partners on a number of occasions. The agreement seeks to build an alliance in four core areas; technical support, management aid, corporate and brand advancement and exchange programs for players.
The club celebrated its 111 year anniversary last week and a Supporter Liaison Office was commissioned to commemorate the anniversary. The Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV mentioned at the commissioning of the Supporter Liaison Office that the club had officially registered the juvenile side Royal Oaks and the newly acquired women’s side The Oaks FC.
Hearts of Oak is expected to officially unveil the women’s team The Oaks FC in the coming days. Hearts of Oak beat Accra Lions 3-1 at the Accra Sports stadium yesterday in a league fixture.
