BEST FULL-BACKS THAT ARE GOING TO PLAY IN THE WORLD CUP

Since the start of the season, PSG full-backs Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes have been particularly impressive.


PSG's two first-team starters have contributed to the club's undefeated record in all competitions this season.




Nuno Mendes had two assists in PSG's recent 5-0 victory over Auxerre. Hakimi also scored, and the two players are among the best Full-backs who will compete in the upcoming World Cup.

Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo has also impressed thus far this season. He has been named to Portugal's World Cup squad. Cancelo has already scored two goals and provided five assists in 20 games for City this season across all competitions. He is the best full-back in the Premier League right now.



Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich is set to play in the World Cup. He is a member of Portugal's World Cup squad for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar. Davies, who is 22 years old, is still one of the best full-backs in the world.Newcastle United's right-back Kieran Trippier has been a standout performer in the Premier League since his debut. Trippier is in England's World Cup squad and is expected to perform well.

Club set €20m asking price for January Arsenal target


Palmeiras have set a price for Brazilian midfielder Danilo, who has been linked with a January move to Arsenal.

According to ESPN Brasil, Palmeiras are willing to negotiate Danilo's departure for €20 million (£17.4 million). There are currently no offers on the table, but Arsenal remains interested following their summer acquisition of the player.



In addition to Arsenal, ESPN reports that Ajax and AS Monaco are interested in signing the player.


According to The Telegraph, Arsenal will back Mikel Arteta in January, with reports that he has looked at potential central midfield additions.


The same source added that Palmeiras midfielder Danilo has been considered for the position, and Ryan Taylor of the Express reported that Arsenal are serious about signing the Brazilian after extensive scouting - with Edu driving the interest.According to Jorge Nicola, Arsenal made a formal bid to sign Danilo during the summer transfer window. On transfer deadline day, Palmeiras reportedly received an official bid of €25 million (£21.8 million), which was rejected.


Palmeiras president Leila Pereira was emphatic at the time that the player would not be sold under any circumstances. They wanted him to stay for their Copa Libertadores campaign.With the season over, the club is more willing to let Danilo go, raising the prospect of Arsenal returning for him in January. Perhaps even for less than they had previously bid for him.
