The Trustee Incorporation Act 1962, Act 106, which was formed in December 2005, led to the creation of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
The Trust Fund's goals are to support and assist the national principles expressed in Articles 25 and 38 of the 1992 Constitution, as well as to provide the financial resources necessary for the Trust to be managed effectively for the benefit of students.
Money from the Trust Fund will be used for the appropriate purposes as determined by the Trustees of the Fund, including, in particular
The provision of facilities to assist students' higher education and further its advancement.
The funding of any additional initiatives and plans for the promotion of pertinent courses as established by the Trustees in consultation with the Minister.
The SLTF also has campus offices at major institutions. These offices serve the following purposes:
Act as the first point of contact for student inquiries.
Locations for loan application pick-up and delivery.
Checking the loan application for form completion.
Serve as a liaison between the loan applicants and the SLTF.
Provide students with information in a timely manner.
The sources of loanable money for the SLTF are as follows:
Donations made to the Trust Fund that make up up to 10% of all contributions to the Ghana Education Trust Fund.
Tax-deductible donations made voluntarily.
The mobilization of financial support from Ghana's overseas allies who are eager to enhance tertiary education.
Tax-deductible contributions from the corporate sector, up to a maximum of 0.5% of the company's real profit before taxes.
Loans from the National Insurance Trust and Social Security.

Register for E-zwich card (can be obtained at any Bank)
If you agree, read the legal notice and click the agree button.
Complete the necessary fields, adhere to the general directions for filling out forms online, then click the next button (Upload a passport picture online, a pdf version of Student ID card or Admission letter, A pdf of Your Ghana Card and E-zwich)

You must upload all necessary and pertinent supporting documents in order to finish the application process. Verify all of your application's information; download and upload all of the agreement documents that the application requires.
Take Your Biometric fingerprint at the nearest zonal or campus offices.
Because SMS and email notifications might occasionally be delayed, check your dashboard periodically for updates on your Loan. That is all there is to know.
