Jeff Berding visits Accra Hearts of Oak Pobiman Sports Complex
As part of activities of Cincinnati FC Co-owner’s visit to Accra Hearts of Oak, Jeff Berding visited the Accra Hearts of Oak Pobiman Sports Complex earlier today.
As expected of him, he visited the site as part of the infrastructural inspection of Hearts of Oak. His visit to the Pobiman Sports Complex forms part of his working visit to Hearts of Oak. Jeff Berding is expected to hold meetings with the Accra Hearts of Oak board of directors to discuss extensively the aims of the Common Value Club Alliance.
Earlier today, he was accompanied by Board members, Hon. Vincent Odotei Sowah and Alhaji Akambi. In attendance was the Acting General Manager of the club, Bernard Nana Adu Gyebi.
As part of the visit, Jeff Berding met the players and the technical team. The Common Value Club Alliance has brought a mutual bond between Hearts of Oak and its partners from the United State of America and Germany. It is believed coach Slavko Matic is a testament to the partnership as he was recommended by Hearts of Oak partners to the club. He has since played four matches after his arrival; winning three and drawing just once. He is expected to win tomorrow against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3pm. Jeff Berding will be in attendance to watch the encounter against Dreams FC.
As part of the benefits of the Common Value Club, earlier this year, Hearts of Oak transferred Salim Adams on a season long loan to Cincinnati FC. A few more players are expected to leave the shores of Ghana after the season on the back of the Common Value Club Alliance with Cincinnati FC and TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga.
Jeff Berding is expected to visit the Hearts of Oak Commercial Center and the new ultra modern secretariat under construction.
