Carlo Ancelotti led Real Madrid to the UEFA Champions League finals in 2021/22, making him the manager with the most Champions League titles. Despite his success in European competitions, Carlo Ancelotti has yet to appear in consecutive UEFA Champions League finals. However, Real Madrid qualified for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League tournament in 2022/23, giving Carlo Ancelotti the opportunity to join the elite group of managers who have appeared in consecutive UEFA Champions League finals.T. Tuchel, Capello, J. Klopp, Heynckes, Z. Zidane, Lippi, L. Van Gaal, A. Ferguson, and Cuper are among the nine managers who have reached consecutive UEFA Champions League finals.

Carlo Ancelotti would become the tenth manager to reach consecutive UEFA Champions League finals if he wins the 2022/23 season. So far, his team has performed well in the group stage, accumulating 15 points and finishing first in their group table. In the round of 16 next year, they will face off against last year's finalists, Liverpool. However, Zidane is the only manager to have reached and won three consecutive UEFA Champions League finals. Real Madrid: Newcastle United make Eden Hazard decision

Real Madrid made a huge mistake when they shattered their transfer record to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea. Back then, the move made perfect sense. During his seven years at Stamford Bridge, the Belgian had established himself as a Premier League legend and had the star power to be the face of Los Blancos, who had just seen Cristiano Ronaldo leave the previous summer.Hazard may have earned the number 7 jersey, but he is no match for the Portuguese superstar.

Hazard's time at Real Madrid has been plagued by injuries, to the point where he is now the club's backup winger. That is a significant setback for a player who was regarded as one of the best in the world in 2019. But that's how quickly football can change.

Real Madrid are said to be looking for a new club for Hazard so that they can offload his astronomical wages as well as a transfer fee from his departure rather than having him walk out as a free agent when his contract expires. Newcastle United could be in trouble.According to El Nacional, Newcastle United is only willing to pay a transfer fee of around €10 million for Hazard, despite his age, a concerning injury history, and the fact that his contract expires in 2024.

Of course, if Real Madrid allows him to leave for that amount, it will be nowhere near what they paid to sign Hazard from Chelsea, which was well over €100 million.

Nonetheless, given Hazard's current lack of playing time at Real Madrid, the move makes sense for all parties. According to Transfermarkt statistics, he has made 6 appearances and played 229 minutes of football this season, scoring once and assisting once.At the end of the day, a €10 million fee is better than nothing, especially when you consider the wages Hazard receives at Real Madrid. But we'll have to wait and see if Newcastle United makes a move.
