Jamal Musiala is one of the world's most promising 19-year-old players right now. He made his World Cup debut in Germany's 2-1 loss to Japan. Musiala is currently one of Bayern Munich's top five goal scorers in the 2022/23 season, and his performance has suggested that he may have outperformed Messi at the age of 19.

At the age of 19, the Argentine striker has already appeared in 84 games for Barcelona's first team, scoring 30 goals and assisting on 13 others. This means that Messi had 43 goals for Barcelona when he was 19 years old. Jamal Musiala, on the other hand, has played 117 first-team games at the age of 19. The German forward scored 28 goals and provided assists.

Based on their minutes played at the age of 19, Messi was clearly a better goal scorer, while Musiala was a better playmaker. Messi, on the other hand, was more successful than Musiala at such a young age and was already playing in one of the most difficult leagues in the world.

‘UNBELIEVABLE’: £30M EVERTON PLAYER REACTS TO CRISTIANO RONALDO LEAVING MANCHESTER UNITED

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford described Cristiano Ronaldo as an "unbelievable" player during his England press conference after leaving Manchester United by mutual consent on Tuesday.

Throughout the build-up to the 2022 World Cup, and as the games began to warm up in Qatar, one story that has consistently grabbed headlines is Ronaldo and his relationship breakdown with Manchester United.

While that has been a topic of discussion for many, Pickford stated that it has not been discussed in the England camp, as one of the world's best players is now a free agent."No, not really (on whether Ronaldo's departure is a topic of discussion)," Pickford replied. "I think it's been low-key because we're in a World Cup tournament and are focused on our job."

"Unbelievable player and one of the two greatest players in the world to do it." Yes, he's now a free agent. But our primary focus is on England and nothing else."

WHAT'S NEXT FOR RONALDO?

If Ronaldo retired tomorrow, he could argue that he is the greatest player to ever grace a football field.

But there is a reason he has reached that elite level time and again: he believes he is the best and no one else comes close.

His mind is still operating that way at 37, but his body is doing and telling different stories.

In any case, if he does not join another Premier League club, he will leave a generational legacy on England's domestic stage.

His last Premier League goal could also have come against Everton and Pickford, as his off-the-shoulder run and low drive earlier this season beat the £30 million keeper (Sky Sports).
