Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar, has announced his departure from Manchester United.
Ronaldo has left Manchester United following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect," said the Premier League giants in a statement."The club wishes to thank him for his immense contribution during his two spells at Old Trafford."
Ronaldo responded to the mutual break with a statement that said, "Following discussions with Manchester United, we have mutually agreed to end our contract early."
"I adore Manchester United and its fans, and that will never change." However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge.
I wish the team all the best for the rest of the season and in the future.
Ronaldo,( 37yrs), scored 145 goals in 346 appearances for Manchester United during two spells.
Following his departure, Ronaldo took to Instagram to share a new wristwatch collection.
"I'm excited to announce my partnership with Jacob and co, one of the world's leading watch brands," the former Real star wrote on Instagram.
"Today, we reveal our first watch collection, which I co-designed with my dear friend Jacob Arabo," Ronaldo said of the new wristwatch.
One of the decorations on the wristwatch is Ronaldo rising above Patrice Evra to score a header for Real Madrid against Manchester United.
The decoration is from Real Madrid's round of 16 Champions League match against Manchester United in the 2012/13 season.
There are two wristwatch designs: the first features the decoration of him rising up to score, while the second features the celebration afterward.
