In advance of the Black Stars' upcoming World Cup match in Qatar, head coach Otto Addo said that it was challenging for him to make judgments due to the players' intense desire to participate and achieve.

In his remarks to the pre-game news conference prior to the team's Group H matchup against South Korea, he emphasized that Ghanaians will witness a more "passionate" Black Stars.

He did, however, admit that his troops' excitement was making it difficult for him to make decisions.

"South Korea will face a motivated team. The same level of enthusiasm that they displayed during the previous game will be present. I'm finding it challenging to make decisions since everyone is eager to participate and is training [good].

Otto Addo, the team's coach, has refuted claims that they disrespected Portugal excessively during their opening World Cup match at Doha's 974 Stadium.

Some detractors contend that the reason the squad lost its opening Group H match was that they were intimidated by the quality of the Portuguese and were forced to withdraw into their shells.

However, in response to these worries, the Black Stars coach said during a press conference on Sunday that his players did not act intimidated. He claimed that despite the team having some inexperienced players, they had no trouble against the talented Portuguese team.

The Black Stars lost to the Portuguese last Thursday, November 24, by a score of three goals to two, in a game that many have criticized for having "biased officiating."

Ronaldo's contentious penalty kick conversion in the 65th minute gave the Portuguese the lead after a scoreless first half.

After receiving a pass from Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, Ghana's André Dede Ayew quickly erased the advantage in the 73rd minute.

Joo Félix and Rafael Leo’s goals in the 78th and 80th minutes, respectively, gave the Portuguese the lead once more and increased their margin of victory.

Osman Bukari, a replacement for the Stars, headed in a cross from former Chelsea defender Baba Rahman in the 89th minute to help his team narrow the deficit.

This did not, however, prevent the team from succumbing to their first loss in the competition.

Otto Addo stated that the team is prepared to atone in their upcoming match against South Korea.

Speaking to the media, he declared that his team is motivated for their second game in Qatar.

He claimed that when the Black Stars play South Korea on Monday, Ghanaians will witness a passionate team.
