Manchester United enter race to sign €42million La Liga right-back
Manchester United have entered the race to sign former Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth, according to media outlet Fichajes.
The Argetine, who is also a transfer target for Premier League rival Chelsea, struggled with Spurs but has improved since joining Villarreal.
The Spanish club values Foyth, who primarily plays as a right-back, at €42 million.
With Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the verge of leaving Manchester United due to form and fitness concerns, the club sees Foyth as a good cover and competition for Diogo Dalot.Meanwhile, according to reports, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has given the club permission to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka in January.
Wan-Bissaka has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Wan-Bissaka has lost his starting right-back spot to Diogo Dalot and looks set to leave Manchester United in January after making just one appearance this season.
