The World Cup is nearing its conclusion, with the tournament having reached the semi-final stages. The only four teams left are Croatia, Argentina, Morocco, and France. Manchester United has begun to make team plans as club football returns soon. The following are three players Manchester United could sign in the winter transfer window to strengthen the team.
Joao Felix's
According to reports, Joao Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes, is currently negotiating a transfer for his client. Mendes wants to bring the Portuguese star to the Premier League, and Manchester United is one of his top targets. Because of his price, the departure could be in the form of a loan with an obligation to buy.
Joao Felix is one of the main stars of the Portugal national team, and his immense contribution helped them reach the tournament's quarterfinals before losing to Morocco.
Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are also interested, but the Portuguese star prefers to stay at Real Madrid.
- Kim Min-jae
Manchester United has renewed their interest in Napoli center back Kim Min-jae, who has a £38 million release clause. South Korea's star performed admirably for his country during the 2022 Qatar World Cup, scoring one goal.
Real Madrid are also interested in the star defender and will be Manchester United's main rival for his signature, as they typically lose two defenders during the winter transfer window.
Another Portuguese star is on Manchester United's radar this January transfer window. Goncalo Ramos has drawn interest from top European clubs, including Manchester United, after scoring a hatrick for Portugal against Switzerland in the round of 16.
According to reports, Manchester United has made contact with Benfica in response to Erik ten Hag's order, and the Portuguese club is willing to sell only if the release clause price is met or close to it.

United Dealt Serious Setback As Club Director Makes January Transfer Claim About 103M Forward
Rui Costa, the president of Benfica, has effectively ruled out the sale of Goncalo Ramos during the January transfer window.
Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle are all said to be interested in the Portuguese international striker, but Costa claims he will not leave the Estadio da Luz unless a club triggers his release clause:
"Our sole goal is to have a winning season; no player will leave unless it is due to the clause, which is critical for the squad at the moment." What I can promise our supporters is what I promised them at the start of the year. This is a sporting endeavor, not a monetary one. Fortunately, we do not have financial problems and do not need to sell players."Ramos' reported buyout fee is €120 million (£103 million), and United are unlikely to reject a bid of that size for the player, despite the fact that he is a very promising young talent.
Alternatives are likely to be pursued. Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid and Cody Gakpo of PSV Eindhoven have both been mentioned as potential targets in recent weeks, but neither is a true forward.
Manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that the club is "working hard in the background to bring in the right players." It remains to be seen, however, who the Red Devils will end up signing next month.
