We are bound to see a couple of players command £100 million or more in transfer fees in the coming transfer windows, so we will be looking at players who have the potential to do so in the future.
Some players have already crossed that threshold, such as Neymar, Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe, Dembele, Coutinho, and Griezmann, who were all purchased for more than £100 million. The caliber of these players demonstrates that you must be a special talent to cross that threshold, so let's take a look at our 10 special players today.
1. Kylian Mbappe
First on the list is Kylian Mbappe, who has already cost PSG £160 million as a teenager, and Real Madrid were willing to pay close to £200 million a couple of transfer windows ago. Kylian remains the most valuable player in the world, and any future sales could cost the paying club more than £200 million.
2. Erling Haaland
Given his talent, age, and ability, it's surprising that Borussia Dortmund didn't get more than £100 million for him when they sold him to Manchester City.
Manchester City would almost certainly receive more than £100 million in a future sale, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG among the possible destinations.
3. Joao Felix
Atletico Madrid already paid more than £100 million for him when they signed him, and all indications are that they have set his price at £130 million should any club be interested.
Rafael Leao
Ac Milan are currently vying to extend his contract as top European clubs swarm around the player; from all indications, Milan would demand more than £100 million to sell him.
5. Jude Bellingham
The England midfielder has been superbly great for Dortmund, and his performances have piqued the interest of Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Liverpool, while Dortmund have reportedly set his price tag at £150 million.
Josko Gvardiol
Defenders rarely command exorbitant fees, but according to reports, RB Leipzig will not budge from their £100 million valuation of the Croatian defender, and Man United and Chelsea are front-runners for his signature.
7. Mudryk
The Ukrainian winger has expressed his desire to play for Arsenal; he is a very talented player valued at £100 million, which may put Arsenal off as his top suitor.
Bukayo Saka
The Englishman has been a revelation for Arsenal since breaking into the first team, he continues to grow with each game and his value continues to rise exponentially, should Arsenal decide to cash-in on their academy graduate, they would demand more than £100 million.
Reece James
Another English player's rise to prominence has seen the likes of Alexander Arnold and Walker fall down the pecking order in the England National team; given what he does in defense and attack, he will likely command £100 million in transfer fees should Chelsea decide to sell.
Osimhen Victor
Last but not least is Victor Osimhen, who cost Napoli £70 million when he arrived from Lille, and given his form, clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea, who have expressed interest in him, would have to pay more than £100 million to sign him.
These are just a few of the players who have the potential to command £100 million in transfer fees. I'm sure there are more, so please add yours in the comments section or tell me which of the players mentioned above you believe would not command £100 million.
