The strike which left teacher trainees in a state of confusion has been suspended temporarily following a take by the local branches of the said Union.
This means any moment from now, academic activities may resume since the tutors will be returning to class room in the date yet unknown.
Due to this strike, the last part of the 2021/2022 academic calendar hasn't been well for both students and the tutors as well.
Strike on it own is a dangerous phenomenon as far academic activities is concerned but glory to God this has come to an end temporarily. But everyone is hoping that the demands of CETAG will be met to enable them continue with their duties.
Some colleges level 2oos didn't write their end of semester 2 exams before they were dismissed. The question is will they be called back to write it?
Following the suspension of this strike, the new applicants who kept contemplating as to whether they have given admission should be expecting admission messages any moment from now.
This is because, the ministry of education has instructed Princof to submit their proposed calendar for the 2022/2023 academic year for consideration . Immediately the academic calendar is confirmed by CETAG, MOE and the Princof, the necessary step for releasing admission list is likely to be considered.
However, since there's a delay in the releasing of admissions for successful applicants, applicants should be extra prepared to comply to their admissions notice when they released because the time frame they may be given may not favor all.
This is simply because, they may be given a limited time to pay fees and prepare for reporting.
The strike have not been positive in the part of students since they were preparing to end the second semester and for that matter the 2021/2022 academic year has been interrupted negatively.
However, that the major way if not all means by CETAG to rise for their demands to be met since they also deserves better condition of service as compared to other union.
