Normally, players are given at least a week's rest after competing in a major tournament like the FIFA World Cup before returning to their respective clubs, but Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training just four days after his heartbreaking exit from the tournament.

He may not have a club right now, but according to reliable reports from 'Relevo,' he's currently working out at Real Madrid's training facility, Valdebebas. Cristiano reportedly received permission from his former club Madrid to return to his old home and train alone while deciding on his next career move.

Of course, the 37-year-return old's to Madrid demonstrates that he is on good terms with the Spanish giants, but it does not imply that they are interested in re-signing him just yet. While still competing in the World Cup, there were numerous rumors about Ronaldo's future, with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr reportedly making a sizable financial offer to the player.

In fact, Ronaldo had to publicly deny at one point that he had signed a contract to join Al Nassr, with the forward eager to continue his career at the highest level in Europe.
