Griezmann acknowledges it will be "completely different" to face Argentina's Messi in the championship game.

Antoine Griezmann of France, whose squad defeated an outstanding Morocco team to go to the championship match against Argentina on Wednesday night, acknowledged that the idea of going up against Lionel Messi will be a task of a whole other magnitude.

After their 2-0 victory, France is on course to win back-to-back World Cups for the first time in 60 years, but Griezmann, their standout player in the semi-final, said: "Any team with Messi in is a different proposition."

"We have watched Argentina play, and we are familiar with their style." They are a tough side to play against and appear to be in excellent shape. Not just Messi, either. They have a powerful side surrounding them, and the crowd will be very supportive of them. We are going to be ready.

Didier Deschamps, the head coach of France, acknowledged that his squad has difficulties due to a sickness in the training camp that caused Adrien Rabiot to miss the game and stay behind at the team hotel. Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman were both infected by the virus and were confined to the bench.

Deschamps predicted that despite the air conditioning and lowering temperatures, the French would need to take steps to stop the virus from spreading. The Upamecano will be suitable.

We're trying to prevent it from spreading, Deschamps added. Players' immune systems suffer as a result of their tremendous exertion on the field. Your body has lost strength.

Karim Benzema may theoretically be called up if the virus develops into a significant issue because he was hurt after being named to the squad. When asked whether he could call him, Deschamps responded, "I don't want to answer that question." The next query, please.

After the victory, France President Emmanuel Macron hailed Deschamps' team and remarked that Messi had been in "scintillating" form throughout the World Cup.

Of certainly, he is among the top players in the world, the man responded. We will undoubtedly make an effort to respond.

Four years ago, when the teams faced off in the quarterfinal, Messi shocked Deschamps and France by switching to the center forward position. He is now playing beside the center striker, scooping up the ball, racing with it, and displaying the excellent form, according to Deschamps.

Deschamps is the sixth individual to have led a team to multiple World Cup finals, however only one of the other five—Vittorio Italy's Pozzo in 1934 and 1938—has triumphed in both. As a player, he also won it in 1998. He has never led Les Bleus to a World Cup victory alone.

We're going to take our time, he declared. My team and players are informed of this. Spend every moment of the day taking in and savoring the moment. We're going to compete in a global championship in four days. We'll take advantage of it right now and prepare for the World Cup's last game.

Walid Regragui, the manager of Morocco, claimed that the remarkable run of his men had finally taken a physical toll.

Despite our injuries and exhaustion, we made every effort and gave it our all, he stated.

We harmed them in some way. I believe this was a step too far at a World Cup. Tonight, we weren't as strong physically. Too many of our players were at 60 to 70 percent.
