Yango, a global company that specialises in urban mobility, has introduced Yango Maps, a new product, for the Ghanaian market.
The best app for city navigation is Yango Maps, which was created to make city exploration as quick and easy as possible for both car-owning and non-car-owning individuals.
The new product is jam-packed with helpful features that can make getting around the city comfortable and simple for everybody.
Among the important features are the ability to use maps in offline mode, real-time traffic forecasts to prevent traffic jams, searching for a specific location and information about places and finding them quickly with photo previews.

Adeniyi Adebayo, the head of Yango Africa, stated in a media interview in Accra that the new Yango Maps give users the chance to participate to the maps by giving feedback and adding points of interest, helping to build local map areas.
Yango Maps, he said, would provide voice navigation prompts with directions for turns, speed limits, accidents, and roadworks, faster route recommendations in case traffic conditions require changes to the directions on the map, and offline maps for simple navigation for people who prefer to get around the city in their cars.
He claims that in addition to being able to order a Yango ride directly from the app, pedestrians can also save their favourite cafes, shops, and other locations to "My places" so they can access them from other devices and switch between map, satellite, and hybrid map types depending on the situation.
The Yango ride-hailing app will also have access to these saved locations. The programme allows users to create itineraries for any type of transportation they like.
