I swear that I will choose Chairman Wontumi to serve as the NDC's national chairman.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the NPP's Ashanti Regional Chairman, has swore to the skies that his candidate will prevail in the National Democratic Congress's contest for chairman. This man is very creative and humble 

For the position of National Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo are anticipated to square off.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, told Wontumionline.com that he has a chosen candidate in the contest and will use his resources to enable that person to win.

"I have a vested interest in the NDC, especially the National Chairmanship candidate. After speaking with my candidate, I pledge by God that I would do all it takes to assure his victory. If my candidate is elected, it will be simpler for the NPP to carry out its objective to break the eight," stated Chairman Wontumi.

The most recent incident between the two party stalwarts was a leaked audio tape on which Mr. Asiedu Nketia reportedly admitted that the NDC lacked proof before charging the Ghanaian electoral body with manipulating the 2020 elections in the NPP's favor.

Currently, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the NDC's General Secretary, has decided to remove Mr. Ofosu Ampofo from his position as the party's National Chairman, putting his position in jeopardy.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia is hurriedly making plans to seize control of the party as National Chairman before the 2024 general election in what has been called the major struggle in the party's approaching National Delegates Congress.

However, the incumbent, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, claims that attempts had been made by high-ups in the party to prevent Asiedu Nketia from challenging him. Chairman would probably win the election and continue his good things only if he listens to the advice of previous leaders.
