Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos makes Zinedine Zidane claim

With the World Cup over, club football is set to resume, and Real Madrid fans must be looking forward to seeing Los Blancos back in action. However, it was heartbreak for a couple of the club's players when Aurelien Tchouameni missed his spot kick in the final against Argentina. Eduardo Camavinga was also used as a substitute on the day.

The future of the French national team coach, Didier Deschamps, is now up in the air as well and it remains to be seen whether he will continue on or not.If he did not, one would assume that Zinedine Zidane would be the overwhelming favorite to succeed him as national team coach. The French legend has been without a job since he departed Real Madrid.

Toni Kroos believes that Zidane would be the best choice to be the France national team's next manager as well. As reported by AS, Kroos and his brother, Felix, commented on the final for the German streaming platform MagentaTV and the 2014 world champion said during a live football chat:"I certainly think Zizou would not only be a good successor, but the best possible successor.

"The big question now is, what does Didier (Deschamps) want? Let's say I believe Zizou has a 70:30 chance of becoming the new coach. day'case, butday'day'case, andday'case, andday'case, andday'case, andday'day

After France's World Cup final defeat to Argentina, Real Madrid hero Zinedine Zidane makes a claim.

Before anything else, one has to say that Deschamps has done an incredible job with the French national team. They won the World Cup in 2018 and finished second this year.Yes, they do have a very talented squad. Many other teams, however, have struggled to maintain that level of consistency. Furthermore, keep in mind that they were missing key players such as N'Golo Kante, Paul Pogba, Christopher Nkunku, and Zinedine Zidane this time around and still made the final.

Thus, if Deschamps wanted to continue on, one would think that he would remain in the job. However, Zidane has been linked for a long time and could be the ideal replacement for his former teammate.
