Chelsea have delegated previous RB Leipzig chief Christopher Vivell as the club's new specialized chief.
They had been hoping to fill the job since Petr Cech withdrew the club in the mid year.
Vivell, 35, passed on previous club RB Leipzig in October because of "contrasts of assessment." He played held his part with the Bundesliga side beginning around 2020, and recently worked at RB Salzburg.
