Management of Dasuma Radio Ltd together with the Organizing Committee of Dasuma Radio Clan Soccer Tournament held a stakeholders engagement meeting at the Yendi Community Centre ahead of the 4th Edition of Dasuma Radio Clan Soccer Tournament.
The meeting which was at the instance of Management and Organizing Committee Members brought together all the stakeholders to brainstorm and adopt modalities towards ensuring a successful tournament.
Participants included referees, coaches, clan representatives and technical teams of the various clans. The participating clans include Sapashin’nima, Lungsi, Laabangsi, Macheli’nima, Nakohi’nima, Mohi, Goonji'nima and Wanzama.
The General Manager Mr Abdul-Halim Rubai who is also the Chairman of the organizing committee, welcomed participants on behalf of the CEO Alhaji Baba Osman Daney and conveyed the CEO's appreciation and admiration to them for their sacrifices and dedication to the tournament. He outlined the measures which have been adopted to make the tournament a success. Among some of the measures include building of players album, accreditation for authorised persons, review of the number of people into the inner parameters and increment of financial support to the participating teams.
Mr Rauf and Mr Adams who are also organizing committee members took terms to address Participants on the concerns from referees and coaches as well as the fixtures respectively. Another Organizing Committee Member, Mr. Majeed, briefed participants on the preparations so far and assured them of a very successful and exciting tournament.
The referees took participants through the football rules and the amended football rules. Various types of offences were explained.
The coaches also took turns to ask questions and offered useful suggestions.
In his concluding remarks, the General Manager thanked participants for taking time off their busy schedules to attend the meeting. He disclosed that the 4th Edition of Dasuma Radio Clan Soccer Tournament is going to be different from the previous editions in terms of organization and the package. Also there would be scouts to select good players. He therefore appealed to clans and fans to conduct themselves very well throughout the tournament.
The tournament starts from.24th - 31st December, 2022 at the Yendi Astro Turf.
