Real Madrid appears to be targeting some of football's brightest young prospects in order to keep the club as one of the best in the world in the future. In that regard, they have been linked with a number of players, with Josko Gvardiol being one of the most prominent names on that list.
Gvardiol had a stellar World Cup campaign and was arguably the tournament's best center-back, as many people were taken aback by his combination of strength and maturity at the back at the age of 20.
It would have come as no surprise to Real Madrid, who had faced Gvardiol in the Champions League against RB Leipzig.
Given how good Gvardiol was at the World Cup, it is natural that he is being linked with some of the world's biggest clubs, and it appears that Real Madrid are not the frontrunners in the race to sign him.
Chelsea appears to be ahead of Real Madrid in the race to sign Gvardiol.
According to Simon Phillips, Chelsea has done the most groundwork to sign Gvardiol of any club so far, and are pushing to sign him as soon as possible.Of course, it should be noted that Chelsea are believed to have recently agreed a deal with RB Leipzig to sign Christopher Nkunku, who will spend the season with the Bundesliga giants before moving to London next summer. So there is already a relationship between the two clubs, and it would not be surprising if they tried to do a similar deal for Gvardiol as well.Let's see what the future holds for Gvardiol, but for the time being, it appears that Real Madrid is trailing Chelsea in the race to sign him.

To be honest, a move to Manchester United for Mbappe does not appear likely.A move to Real Madrid, on the other hand, is considered unlikely, as the relationship between Los Blancos and PSG is not the best at the moment.
Let's see how Mbappe's situation develops. If he were to leave PSG, he would have plenty of options, as he is the game's next global superstar, with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo nearing retirement.
