Items have been provided to the Street Girls Aid Shelter by the non-profit organisation Trailblazers, which focuses on empowering women.

The supplies, which include 12 bags of flour, 2 bags of maize, and liquid soap, were intended to help rehabilitate the bakery, which was established to generate cash by selling bread to locals and nearby residents in order to maintain the home's occupants.

Gifty Takyi, the administrator for Trailblazers, claimed that her organization's visit to the Street Girls Aid Shelter on December 15 notified them of the closure of the bakery that had been operating for years to support the residence because of the high cost of flour.

She claimed that Trailblazers developed these products because they couldn't stand by and watch the situation worsen. This allowed them to ramp up production and support the lives of those who depended on the organisation.

"The bakery business was on pause the last time we came, so we decided to work with them to remodel it, earn money, and use any profits to finance additional enterprises and training that they will be organising in the future.

We did this by chatting to other folks to put together these products. We brought this to help them resume operations because the price of flour has increased due to inflation, the woman stated.

More training will be organised, Miss Takyi said, to give the girls the entrepreneurial skills they need to create a better future for themselves and their families.

Irene Engmann, the deputy director for Street Girls Aid Shelter, accepted the donations on the organization's behalf and noted that it has become crucial for every organisation to be financially stable; as a result, a bakery was established to provide for the girls living there and to teach others how to bake.

She expressed her gratitude for the thoughtful gesture and added that the assistance from Trailblazers will significantly help to increase their baking company.
