After claiming to have been expelled from a beach in Qatar, the Argentine fan who went topless during the World Cup final has revealed the true motivation behind the prank.
Noemi Gomez gained notoriety after risking arrest by celebrating her nation's victory over France by stripping off in front of the camera.
Officials reportedly pulled the soccer fan and her friend Milu Barbie from Lusail Stadium after they violated severe restrictions in Qatar by exposing their breasts.
The two women's antics raised concerns that they might have been imprisoned, but Noe disclosed on Monday that she had fled to Europe.
She was filmed by her friend Milu while out for a walk in Madrid earlier this week, however, it is unclear whose nation she is in.
The Argentina supporter, who goes by Noe Dreams, confessed on Instagram that she was celebrating toplessness as a result of being barred from a beach "for being a woman."
"The moment they threw me off of a beach in Qatar for being a woman...how could I not celebrate topless," she captioned a beach video she shared.
Only her legs are visible in the video as a group of people spoke in Spanish at a beach.
Uncertain of the reason, a security officer appears to speak with a few of the males in the group and requests that she vacate the area.
The enigmatic argument at the beach follows her most recent photo, in which she posed in a bikini beside the pool with the phrase "Hola Campeones," or welcome champions.
Because they were seen with their tops off during the wild celebrations, Noemi, a model for the Argentine retailer Destino Pink, and a friend have taken to calling themselves The Topless Girls.
Despite early worries, Noe shared a video of herself flashing with her expanding fan following and assured everyone that the couple is safe and sound.
Noe previously stated that they had made a pact to go topless if Argentina won and "had to keep our pledge" despite the possibility of going to jail.
