Curren D. Price, Jr., a representative for the 9th District of Los Angeles City Council in the United States of America, has advocated for a team effort to contribute to society and create connections.
Every country in the globe is dealing with some sort of challenge, and the condition of the weak cannot be understated.
Given this context, effective networking and the sharing of business possibilities will generate the urgency required to remodel the African economy and elevate it to the top of the list of economies on the global stage.
On December 22, 2022, while on a routine visit to Ghana, Curren D. Price, Jr. gave a speech in Accra about the significance of getting to know one another well enough, creating networks, and utilising the role that digital media can play in sharing best practises and fostering cohesion.
These factors are components of better and stronger bonds, which will, in turn, create a more engaging activity aimed at promoting socioeconomic development.
We must get to know one another better and put forth great effort to address some of the issues that the African continent faces.
Together, we can lessen the suffering of the most disadvantaged members of our society, he said.
Responsibility
He contends that it is morally right and responsible to give back to mankind in order to safeguard the welfare of those who are less fortunate in society. He said that this will significantly cushion those who are living in extreme poverty and give them some kind of hope.
To ensure the very welfare of the impoverished, afflicted, and orphaned is taken care of, "We have all the responsibility to give back to humanity. By doing this, we will create a society based on love, and peace and stability would come about naturally, he said.
investigating possibilities
Curren D. Price, Jr. stated that there are numerous business opportunities when discussing investigating options. At the same time, they may be used to influence national affairs by highlighting their significance for job creation and enabling crime to be reduced to the absolute minimum.
"Investing time in learning about business options in Accra is a positive move. This could ensure that many young people actively engage in economic endeavours that provide them with a source of income.
In order to enable today's youth and the generation yet to be born to become independent, he said, "agriculture, technology, and big, small, and medium firms would be fostered."
Admonition
Curren D. Price, Jr. took use of the opportunity to remind Ghanaian young to be entrepreneurial in light of the variety of alternatives available to them.
He emphasised that young people should avoid time-consuming activities that are not relevant and should work hard to achieve their goals and careers. They will undoubtedly make a positive contribution to the growth and development of their nation.
