THREE PLAYERS WORTH WERE AMONG THE TOP 25 WORLD CUP STARS

Players whose market values have grown as a result of the tournament in Qatar have been identified and ranked by the transfer market.


According to Christian Schwarz, the head of international at Transfermarkt, "the World Cup is a display window for players with the focus of the entire world on it."


"This World Cup market value update will only include upgrades," the statement reads. "We only paid attention to players, who showed significant improvements and/or managed to receive international focus that will ultimately lead to an increased interest on the transfer market."After excelling for France and scoring eight goals, Kylian Mbappe tops the list according to their analysis. He has been valued at a stunning €180 million.


The only other players with a nine-figure market worth are the English duo of Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka. Saka is valued at €100 million, while the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who has been widely linked with a move to Liverpool, is worth €110 million.


Aurelien Tchouameni, a member of Mbappe's international team, is valued at €90 million on the open market. Josko Gvardiol of Croatia, who is valued at €75 million, is the most expensive defender, surpassing Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, who is valued at €70 million.The top ten players are all worth at least €60 million and include Theo Hernandez, Cristian Romero, Cody Gakpo, and Dayot Upamecano.



Enzo Fernandez became the largest market value winner in 2022 after his market value increased from €35 million to €55 million.



Other World Cup stars, such as Alexis Mac Allister, Randal Kolo Muani, Goncalo Ramos, Emiliano Martinez, and Sofyan Amrabat, are also included.
