On Christmas Day of last year, Erling Haaland sent a former coach a pair of Jordan 4 sneakers as a gift.

The Norwegian man mountain has a giving side off the field despite his obsession with scoring goals, and he felt the urge to give Otto Addo a gift.

Oddo was a player for Borussia Dortmund and then worked there as an assistant manager and "talent coach"; he will continue in this position after leaving Ghana after the World Cup in Qatar.Haaland expressed his gratitude to him for helping him become a superstar because of his great influence.

Addo posted a photo of himself and Haaland wearing Nike cleats on Instagram with the remark, "Merry Christmas, Thank you Erling Haaland."

Haaland, who admitted to having a sneaker obsession, enthusiastically gave a pair of sneakers to Addo, who also developed players like Jadon Sancho and Gio Reyna.Haaland's extravagant gift-giving for his first Christmas as a Manchester City player shouldn't come as a surprise.

When it was made known that Haaland would be leaving Dortmund for another Bundesliga team, he gave each player and coach a personalized gift.

Haaland felt the need to express his gratitude to the 33 players and 20 members of the coaching staff by giving them expensive Rolex watches, according to Bild.

According to estimates, each clock is valued between £11,000 and £13,000. But Haaland also wanted to show appreciation for those working behind the scenes, so it is reported that around 20 other club personnel, including physiotherapists, chefs, and counselors, received Omega watches, each costing between £6,000 and £8,000.In total, Haaland spent little around half a million pounds on the send-off presents.Read more:

Despite Mbappe's three goals for Paris Saint-Germain, France lost to Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday. Martinez, the goalie for Argentina, cruelly made fun of Mbappe shortly after.

Some believe he took it too far when he brought it up at Argentina's open-top bus parade earlier this week.
