Young players at Arsenal have enjoyed a successful year in 2022 as some have become stars of the first squad while others have continued to build their reputations.

Bukayo Saka, who has four goals and six assists in just 14 games in the first half of the Premier League season, was one of England's greatest players at the World Cup in Qatar.

While William Saliba, who had been on loan at Marseille, adapted quickly to his new position at the heart of Arsenal's defense. Gabriel Martinelli was called up to the Brazil World Cup team after scoring five goals in 14 games.Ethan Nwaneri, 15, made his league debut, making him the youngest debutant in Premier League history.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Mikel Arteta's management give even more young players significant opportunities as 2023 approaches. Several Gunners starlets are currently out on loan in an effort to strengthen their claims for opportunities to shine for the senior team next season.Let's examine potential candidates for Arteta's team in 2023.

Chuck Patino

In his first full season of senior football, Charlie Patino has made an impact while on loan at Blackpool.

The Seasiders didn't have a great start to the season; after 23 games, they were 22nd and in the Championship relegation zone. Patino was one of their star players.

Blackpool manager Michael Appleton praised the 19-year-old as "amazing" for his two goals and two assists.Patino, one of the best young players to emerge from the Gunners program recently, will be looking to make 2023 a successful year.

Nwaneri, Ethan

At the age of 15 years and 181 days, the aforementioned Ethan Nwaneri made his senior debut against Brentford in September.

He broke Cesc Fabregas' previous record for being the youngest player to ever play for Arsenal at the senior level by nearly a full year.

This demonstrates Arteta's confidence in the prodigy, who has participated in each of Arsenal's four World Cup friendlies.Balogun, Folarin

Folarin Balogun, who is now on loan at Ligue 1 team Reims, has scored eight goals in France's top level this season.

Even after Gabriel Jesus sustained a knee injury, there were rumors that the 21-year-old striker would be recalled by the Arsenal. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, it appears that he will remain in France for the remainder of the season.

Balogun hopes to emulate Saliba by seamlessly integrating into the Arsenal first team after a loan stint in France. If he can maintain his goal-scoring form, he will undoubtedly have a good chance of succeeding.
