Bellingham, a Man City hopeful, "will ignore Real Madrid and Liverpool in favor of Pep"

Manchester City is confident that England player Jude Bellingham will choose to work for Pep Guardiola at the Etihad over Real Madrid and Liverpool.

At the World Cup, Bellingham solidified his position as the most sought-after player in football by putting on a series of magnificent performances that ended with England being defeated by France in the quarterfinals.

Previously, it was believed that Liverpool was the front-runners, but in recent days, Real Madrid is thought to have passed the Reds as the team most likely to sign the former Birmingham City midfielder, and they are willing to pay up to £100 million for him.

Numerous elite clubs in Europe have shown interest in Bellingham since his career took off in Germany with Borussia Dortmund. And his price tag is only going one way following a fantastic World Cup in Qatar.

According to The Sun, sources at the Etihad are hopeful that the prospect of working under Pep might tip the scales in City's favor despite suggestions that Bellingham is on his way to the Bernabeu.

Erling Haaland, a former teammate of Bellingham's at Dortmund, has joined City on a contract that runs through 2025.

The young sensation might end up in Manchester.

It is unknown which side of Manchester that is.

It was revealed this week that Manchester United will compete for Bellingham's services along with their long-term target Frenkie De Jong.

After Bellingham and his parents visited the team's Carrington training facility, where he met Sir Alex Ferguson and other club officials, United believed they had won the race to sign Bellingham.

The Old Trafford administration will make another attempt to influence Bellingham next summer by promising him a significant position in United's future.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, also acknowledged his interest in Bellingham earlier this month when he said, "Everyone wants him, I'm not going to conceal it."

The Dortmund wunderkind is reportedly no longer available, according to PSG.

Bellingham has made 112 appearances and even assumed the captaincy since joining Dortmund in 2020. In that time, he scored 21 goals and provided assists for another 19 goals.

He contributed significantly to Gareth Southgate's midfield throughout the competition and scored his first England goal in a 6-2 demolition of Iran on his World Cup debut.
