Chelsea FC has made a third signing for the January 2023 transfer window, according to reports.

Chelsea Transfer News

Chelsea FC has once again dominated the transfer news, with reports claiming that the Blues are now owned by Todd Boehly. The Blues have reportedly signed AS Monaco centre-back Benoit Badiashile for a fee of more than 34 million pounds.

Following Chelsea FC's poor form under Graham Potter's management, there have been mixed reactions to the signing. The Blues have only won one game in their last seven Premier League appearances, which is a concerning statistic for a team vying for a title.

The Blues have also struggled to score goals in the Premier League, with only 23 goals scored in 16 games. The draw with Nottingham Forest in today's match, played on Sunday, January 1st 2022, has raised questions about whether the Blues should instead focus on their attacking side of the game.

Kylian Mbappe to Man Utd: Ten Hag told cost of transfer with Jude Bellingham measure in place

Manchester United have been told that any deal for Kylian Mbappe will almost certainly cost them the most expensive transfer fee in history, amid reports that the club is considering a blockbuster move to sign the PSG superstar.

The Red Devils are deliberating over their next transfer moves. Manager Erik ten Hag was allowed to spend well over Ł200 million during the summer transfer window, bringing in six new players to kickstart their new era.

And three of them, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez, have quickly established themselves as first-team regulars.

With the January transfer window approaching, Ten Hag and company are debating their next move. Signing a new attacker appears to be a high priority.Cody Gakpo was one player who had been strongly linked, but he was quickly and emphatically poached by Liverpool. Ten Hag, on the other hand, was in no mood to comment after the Red Devils missed out on the PSV star.

In the short term, and with funds limited, United are reportedly looking to sign a loan player to help them get through the rest of the season. To that end, they are rumored to be considering a move for a former Chelsea flop.

However, United are reportedly ready to spend big money on a new striker in the summer. They are also said to be considering three candidates, including Dusan Vlahovic and Goncalo Ramos.United are also reportedly considering an offer for Mbappe.

With a hat-trick in the World Cup final, the forward cemented his reputation as one of the world's best players.

Man United have been told that signing Kylian Mbappe will be expensive.

Any deal for Mbappe would undoubtedly be costly for United. The PSG forward has recently been mentioned as a target for both Real Madrid and Liverpool.

While Los Blancos may be able to finance such a deal, his reported weekly wages of Ł600,000 are likely to deter Liverpool. It remains to be seen whether such a salary is within United's means.

However, one transfer journalist has speculated on how much it would take to lure Mbappe away from PSG. And, using Jude Bellingham as a yardstick, he predicts a world-record fee.

The current record is the Ł198 million (€222 million) paid by PSG for Neymar. However, according to Dean Jones of Givemesport, a fee of up to Ł200 million is likely.

"Someone who's just scored a hat-trick in a World Cup final, it's the look of a Ł200m footballer. "There's no denying it," he said."Right now, Jude Bellingham is being talked about as a possible Ł130 million footballer. If you want, you can use that as a marker for Mbappe, who is the ultimate game-changing forward. So it'll be in the region of Ł200 million."

Ten Hag recently stated that his team was looking for a new attacker and that the search was on.

"We are aware that we have lost a striker, so I believe we must bring in a striker, but it must be the right one," United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said. "The right one is a player who adds quality to the team rather than just adding to the squad because that only causes problems."
